Ranting and Raving
I know y'all missed me ranting and raving. So, apropos of nothing other than my own therapy here are my thoughts, revelations and reminiscences for the Easter holidays based on my year so far. Should pass a little time if you are stuck in a traffic cue or airport. No need to comment š Funny world we are living in just now, perhaps not the most appropriate term but itās my way of looking on the bright side, I think they call it irony. I spend most of my time dazed and confused, frustrated and angry and frankly entirely bewildered by a cacophony of noise from a world I barely want to inhabit...
With Age Comes Wisdom….Or Not
Oscar Wilde wrote "With age comes wisdom, but sometimes age comes alone.ā Turns out he was right. Scientists have found that growing older is no guarantee of growing wiser, if wisdom is an intuitive knack for grasping basic beneficial behaviours. A Day At Kaizen Bonsai
Everyone who knows me will confirm I am a glass half empty kind of a fellow. I have found that hoping for the best and preparing for the worst has worked for me. Now that I am getting older the world is increasingly more confusing and seems to have no place for the...
Strange Goings On!
So much for a holiday. This year for Christmas, as I do every year, I got a skip. I spent every waking hour battling the garden and digging a drain (as you do). How many people spent Christmas morning digging a hole? Then once we got back to work we had to deal with a...
More Keepers
A while back I published a post about a juniper I had a particular fancy for. After our biggest year ever selling special trees of all shapes and sizes my head is spinning a bit. As I said before it might seem like a dream job to many, buying bonsai and raw material...
